‘Poomaram’ And ‘Amy’ Out From Christmas Race.
Two highly anticipated projects from Malayalam Film Industry have opted out from the Christmas slot, this year. Starring Manju Warrier in and as ‘Aami’ was the first one, which announced the news of backing off from the Christmas race, which it was expected to compete for. The reason, which the makers cited was that of the unavailability of director Kamal during these times. It is been reported that Kamal, who would be busy with IFFK in January, might not manage to pay full attention to ‘Aami’.
Yet another project, which postponed release, was Kalidas Jayaram’s ‘Poomaram’. The movie, which had started shooting in September last year, however met with uncountable delays. Though the songs of this Abrid Shine directorial, have all turned out to be hugely popular, the incomplete status of the production and post production status, have pushed back the movie further. After numerous postponements, it was widely believed that Kalidas’s Mollywood debut will finally gets released in December this year. However, with makers informing the other way, the wait continues for ‘Poomaram’.
