Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 : Dhanush is again back with VIP(Velai Illa Pattathari) 2. The first part being a super hit in Tamil as well as Telugu(in which it was dubbed). This time, the movie shows the same story line of an unemployed to become the strongest person as an employed and take down the chairman of a company just as the previous installment.
Velaiilla Pattadhari 2, known also as VIP 2, is an Indian Tamil-Telugu comedy-drama film directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth. A sequel to the 2014 Tamil-language film Velaiilla Pattadhari, it has Dhanush, Amala Paul, Vivek, Saranya Ponvannan and Samuthirakani returning from the first film, other cast including Kajol. Dhanush, besides acting, is also co-producing the film and has written the story and dialogues for the film. The film, which is also co-produced by S. Thanu, has music composed by Sean Roldan.
Story: The story takes off where it is left. With Raghuvaran(Dhanush) being an unemployed once again kicks off to search for a job. He finally finds a job in a construction company and joins a new one. While he works in the morning, but in the evening he comes home drunk. When the scenes are smooth, there will be a tender which comes in for the company he works which they win.
The entry of Vasundhara Constructions as another company, there will be much of action going on to sack him while he remains strong and overcomes the power and politics of the company
Pre-Review: This movie has potential to stay strong in its line with other big movies releasing today. The story is the same while Dhanush is at his best as usual. The background music brings the enthusiasm out and pumps the blood. This makes you involved in the movie entirely. The movie has some significant characters while, Kajol as an antagonist impresses everyone. The performance of Dhanush and Kajol holds the entire story into one good part.
